When raising silkworms, the first child who comes every day will clean the feces of the silkworms and feed them with fresh mulberry leaves. In terms of taking care of small animals, my class is still doing well. But limited to observation and care, there is a lack of records of animal changes. When raising silkworm babies, you can design an observation record book to observe the daily changes in the body size of the silkworm babies, to spin silk, form cocoons, break cocoons, and form butterflies, and record the growth process of the silkworm babies. According to the content in the book, I think the animals in my class can be richer, allowing young children to choose animals of interest to raise. Please ask the children to ask questions about the animals and guide them to explore and solve them. You can also conduct simple experiments on animals, provide them with various foods, and observe what foods they will eat. In this way, keeping animals is not only about keeping animals, but young children also learn about the characteristics of animals.
In terms of plants, there are many kinds of plants in my class, and young children are happy to take care of their plants and observe them. We have also created hydroponic areas and soil culture areas to allow young children to experience different breeding methods and observe the process of plant growth. We have also designed an observation log for each plant. When observing the plant corner, children can record the daily care of the plants (watering, pruning, turning, etc.), and can also draw a picture of the changes of plants and record the plants every day Has a more intuitive understanding of plants.
