Guide to Activate JetBrains Development Tools Using Zhejiang Business University Student Email

1. Download and install the development tools of Jetbreain, taking IDEA 2020 as an example

   • Official website: https://www.jetbrains.com/idea/download

2. Log in to your school's email address to verify that your email account is available

The school has opened an edu education mailbox account for each student.

• Landing address: Zhejiang Business University Mail System
• username:student ID@pop.zjgsu.edu.cn
• Password: the last 6 digits of the ID number (Capital letter X if the last digit is not a number)
• Additional information about student mailbox

Turn off the anti-spam settings of the mailbox, and then do not receive the confirmation email of Jetbrains

3. Apply for free use authorization of jetbrains

• Application URL: link
• Website: https://www.jetbrains.com/community/education/#students

• Fill in the relevant information

• After obtaining the authorization, you need to click the confirmation link in the email.

4. Enter the mailbox to find the confirmation email of Jetbrains' educational package. Click the email link and the next step

• If you click on the link, this page appears.

• Use Notepad or other editor to open: C: \ Windows \ System32 \ drivers \ etc \ hosts
• Delete the configuration information in the figure below, and then save it to continue

5. Page jump to

• After turning to the bottom, click I ACCEPT. Jump to the next interface

• If you have a jetBrain account, enter the account password and log in to complete the free application.
• If not, use the school's mailbox to register an email, and then log in to complete the application.

6. Use the account password to activate the JetBrain development tool
