Change the remote desktop connection port

Start ---> Run: regedit, open the registry:

1. Enter: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Control \ Terminal Server \ Wds \ rdpwd \ Tds \ tcp], find PortNamber, its default value is 3389 (change to decimal display), modify to the desired port, example 6699.

2. Enter: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentContro1Set \ Control \ Tenninal Server \ WinStations \ RDP-Tcp], modify the value of PortNumber (default is 3389) to port 6699. (Must be consistent with the port set in step 1 )

3. Close the registry editor and restart the computer to take effect.
