If you open some Microsoft documents in LibreOffice on Linux, you will find that the fonts look a little different. You will also notice, can not find common fonts such as Times New Roman, Arial and so on.
Why Linux is not installed by default in Microsoft fonts?
Times New Roman, Arial, and all other such fonts owned by Microsoft, and they are not open source. By default, many Linux distributions do not provide proprietary software, in order to avoid licensing issues.

Do not underestimate proprietary font
