Mac computer installation putty, before writing an article, but only a command-line program to install, update today about the mounting putty graphical interface.
### Step 1: Install MacPorts
MacPorts is a package management tool, similar to the brew.
Open links https://distfiles.macports.org/MacPorts/ , select the Mac version corresponds to its own installation package.
For example my computer: Click the top left corner of the screen "apple icon" -> "About This Mac", you can see my system version.
Then the inside top of the open web search (search by the pop-up box command + F) corresponding to the system version, the newer version of the following, as shown below:
Download the installation package pkg format, double click and follow the prompts to install on your computer Note: The installation process is relatively time-consuming and patience, not crashed.
After installation is complete, open the terminal, to update port.
sudo port -v selfupdate

### Step 2: Install GTK +
because, putty under Linux and macOS, are using the GTK + graphical interface, so you need to install GTK support.
According to the previous method, to open a terminal, the port command to install GTK +, as follows:
sudo port install gtk2
Note: When the command Computing dependencies for gtk2, would be more time-consuming, patience ...
because more dependencies installed, so the installation process is relatively time-consuming.
### Step 3: Install xquartz
xquartz provide support for the drawing layer under the Mac, open https://www.xquartz.org/ , download the dmg file, follow the prompts to install, the installation is complete, you need to "Log out the current user." and then log in again.
### Fourth step: install putty
sudo port install putty
Wait for the installation to complete, after completion, enter putty putty to start the graphical interface program.
This, putty on a Mac computer installation is complete.
