Apache Software Foundation (Apache Software Foundation, ASF) issued celebrates its 21 anniversary .
Official data show that as of now, Apache Software Foundation has gathered 300 other projects. And includes 765 individual members and 206 Apache Project Management Committee, as well as more than 7,600 of the submitter and 200M + Apache lines of code. Meanwhile, Apache Software Foundation also conducted a valuation of its code base, valued at nearly $ 20 billion.
David Nalley, executive vice president of the Apache Software Foundation, said, "Over the past two decades, the Apache Software Foundation has been a vendor-neutral, reliable place to community-led collaboration." And said, "Today, ASF has become a pioneer in open source, it is through world-class innovative product portfolio cultivated a different size of the project community."
ASF community-centered development process called "Apache Way". Apache Way has been a pioneer in collaborative computing, and the direct impact on the InnerSource method Open Source and open development principles to the organization. Currently, Apache Way has been adopted by countless organizations, including Capital One, Comcast, Ericsson, HP, IBM, Google, Microsoft, PayPal, SAP, T-Mobile and many other organizations.

- SF Express delivery using Apache SkyWalking key COVID-19 Coronavirus products on a global scale;
- Alibaba use Apache Flink product information center and real-time customer suggestions, handling over 2.5 billion records per second;
- China Telecom Bestpay use Apache ShardingSphere (hatch) to extend 10 billion data sets for mobile payments distributed in more than 30 applications.
