Lithium battery testing process

1. Test Environment

• Temperature: 20 ℃ ± 5 ℃
• Relative humidity: not more than 75%
• Atmospheric pressure: 86 KPa ~ 106 KPa

1. Electrical Performance Testing

1. Capacity test:

• In the first complete discharge of the battery cabinet, and then do the charging and discharging, export the data to see the discharge capacity;
  note the capacity to see the battery type, generally more than two thousand to three thousand

2. Cycle test:

• Battery discharge battery cabinet do charge and discharge cycles, the number of cycles required to do to see each section of the battery until the cycle end, to see the battery capacity decrease can not exceed what percentage;
  Note: cycles generally 400, and some 1000; Each standard battery capacity drops Different

3. Rate charge and discharge test (discharge current with much): as with 2C 2400ma capacity (i.e. 4800ma charge and discharge), with 3C (7800ma charge and discharge):

• See each charge discharge capacity and discharge capacity at the charge-discharge rate meets the requirements specification;

2. Security Test

1. Drop Test (free fall from a height of 1m):

• After a free drop test prescribed method, the battery pack should be no fire, no explosion;

2. High and low temperature test (placed in the incubator test):

• 170 ℃ -20 ℃ storage 7 days storage for 30 days out to measure the capacity meets the requirements specification;
  note some test cell temperature and time are not the same, each different battery capacity eligibility criteria;

3. Short-circuit test (the positive and negative terminals for short):

• The battery pack should be no leakage, no fire, no explosion; after the recovery of the battery pack should be working properly;

4. Overcharge (to let the battery has been charged, more than its rated voltage): - The
   battery pack should be no leakage, no fire, no explosion, is working properly;
