Mir 2.14 released, Linux display server for Ubuntu

Canonical recently released Mir 2.14, the latest version of the project.

Mir 2.14 adds support for screen lockers (screen lockers) via the ext-session-lock-v1 protocol on the Wayland side, and finally supports Wayland drag and drop. In addition, the implementation of the rendering platform is integrated, abandoning the DispmanX platform previously used on the Raspberry Pi device.

Mir 2.14 also adds support for dragging icons with the cursor, "attached" windows can now be restored by dragging and pressing, and fixes various bugs. These include fixing display output names for Nvidia graphics cards, better handling of libinput device rejections, and support for the evdev platform.

According to reports, smart mirrors and other edge/smart devices running Ubuntu Linux also use Mir.
