Animated GIF Player allows Unity3d to play animated GIFs. No additional setup or coding is required. Also great for showing short videos without sound (eg tutorials). Videos are easily converted to animated gifs using any number of online tools such as this one .

1. Basic Usage
Get started with Unity3d animated gif with the following steps:
1. Add the animated GIF to the StreamingAssets folder in the root of the assets folder
2. Add the animated Gif player component to the gameobject (game object) on which you want to display the Gif.
For example, a UI original picture
