New Rural Film Dialogue with New Youth | Documentary film "Come on! Folks" was screened and exchanged at Tsinghua University

  On May 17, the first rural revitalization documentary film "Come on! Folks" was screened and exchanged at Tsinghua University. Film director Tang Jian, art director of China Agricultural Film and Television Center, and Yan Fei, associate professor and deputy dean of the Department of Sociology of Tsinghua University, doctoral supervisor, attended the event. It is reported that the film will officially meet the audience in theaters on May 20.

  Teachers and students of Tsinghua University watched this documentary film on rural revitalization together. Film Promotion Director Zhao Xun presided over the event.

  The film "Come on! Folks" is the first documentary film to record the strategy of rural revitalization with real footage. The film focuses on a group of villagers who grow vegetable greenhouses in Taojiang Township, Ganzhou City, an old revolutionary area. The film profoundly presents the arduousness, complexity, profundity and bright prospects of China's rural revitalization. Through the real stories of front-line figures in rural revitalization, it brings people a deep understanding of the connotation of rural revitalization and exploration and thinking about the progress of rural revitalization, so that the audience can't help but cheer for the villagers!

  The topic of Sannong is an important social and economic issue in my country. This exchange activity is based on the film itself, and discusses the topic of Sannong and rural revitalization policies and practices. After watching the movie, Director Tang Jian introduced the basic situation of the filming. Aiming at the current situation of agriculture, rural areas, and farmers shown in the film, he and Mr. Yan Fei connected with the protagonist Huang Shaoqiong on the spot to discuss the strategic implementation methods of the five rural revitalization methods, as well as the difficulties and pain points encountered in the implementation. Director Tang Jian called on contemporary young people to pay more attention to Sannong, take root in Sannong, and make agriculture a more promising industry.

  This exchange activity received a positive response from the students. On the spot, director Tang Jian and teacher Yan Fei conducted cross-border thinking exchanges and collisions on the high-quality development status, problems and countermeasures of farmers' professional cooperatives.
