The official website domain name of the Python HTTP library Requests has expired

The developer found that the official website domain name of the well-known Python HTTP library Requests has expired, including the document subdomain name, and the following interface will appear when accessing:

Requests official website: http://python-requests.org/
Requests documentation: https://docs.python-requests.org/

The developer filed an issue on the Requests GitHub repo regarding this issue . The maintainer replied that the domain is owned by Kenneth Reitz, the author of the requests, and has been inaccessible for some time. They have contacted Kenneth but have not received a response.

It was pointed out that Kenneth has in fact been very little involved in the development of Requests, and the actual maintenance of the project is almost entirely done by other contributors. And community members are also quite critical of Kenneth. Someone once posted an article explaining that he " why not cooperate with Kenneth Reitz ". He believes that Kenneth has made behaviors that damage the community and should revoke Kenneth's access to the project.
