MyEclipse8.0M2 + tomcat6 + struts2.1.8
Problem: When you start tomcat, always being given as follows:
Exception starting filter struts2
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.apache.struts2.dispatcher.ng.filter.StrutsPrepareAndExecuteFilter
the reason:
In the WEB-INF / lib, associated with struts2 has seven jar package, built himself a struts2 folder for seven packages, the directory structure changed from /WEB-INF/lib/*.jar
/WEB-INF/lib/struts2/*.jar. When you start tomcat on the error, but also a handful of hard google, tossing three hours.
solve:
Those jar package to the lib directory.
