2, by Xftp tool to make the file available on Linux. Connected Linux into the Tomcat installation package directory, execute the command: tar -zxvf Tomcat installation package file name

Note: startup.sh file is the Tomcat startup file, start Tomcat command: SH startup.sh or ./startup.sh
(Packet must be unpacked in Linux properties file will not mess, if you are after unpack Tomcat passed to Linux, starup.sh file will not have execute permissions, that is not green ...)
