obj format ( Wiki CHS ) is produced by the three-dimensional model of the company Wavefront text interchange format (see: the FileFormat-obj ). You may be used to draw the visual studio model format
fbx format ( Wiki ) is a three-dimensional model produced to support Autodesk's animation interchange format (see: the FileFormat-fbx ). Since the format contains a wealth of information, support for text and binary description, it is widely used gaming industry.

fbx formats are constantly evolving, with many versions: fbx2009, fbx2010, fbx2011 ..., fbx2020 ..., while Autodesk has provided corresponding FBX SDK for use by developers to write different versions of fbx format
