FreeNAS leading development company announced another FreeNAS associated but independent enterprise NAS operating system TrueNAS into one version, the version of the combined use TrueNAS the name of the company. iXsystems said, FreeNAS and TrueNAS share most of the code, the latest version of FreeNAS 11.3 and TrueNAS 11.3 share of 95% of the code.
