Vim three modes

General mode

Enter : vim start to open a file on the default mode to enter the general
function : Under normal mode you can perform copy and paste the move to delete the character to delete an entire row

Edit mode

Enter : vim in the normal mode by ioa R four key one to enter the edit mode
in edit mode, press ESC to return to normal mode
function : In edit mode you can edit the contents of a file

Command Mode

Enter : vim output in normal mode by : i.e. the key to enter the colon command mode
in command mode Press ESC returns to the normal mode
function : In order to save mode may operate alternatively to leave the reading operation and the like displayed line number
