Cloudera-server migration

The company hosts a cluster cloudera-scm-server where a fault has occurred, has been restarted, you need to take to redo the system, but the whole cluster cloudera manager did not want to move, can not stop the service, you need to migrate cloudera-scm-server to other hosts top , the internet did not find relevant information on the record about the migration process.

Migration steps:
preparation:
MySQL database on the host 1. Back up the original cloudera-scm-server host
2. Install the new master node mysql, then initialize the database (note the need to configure permissions to the database, a reference to build cloudera manager of the document, and the configuration database is not case sensitive)
/opt/cm-5.8.0/share/cmf/schema/scm_prepare_database.sh MySQL SCM -H new node -uroot -p 'password' -scm-hos new node scm scm scm
ensure mysql - h new node login mysql -u scm -pscm can
import the backup data tables to check whether the normal complete introduction
3. / opt / cloudera / csd and / opt / cloudera / parcel-repo cp to the new node (related to the new future add nodes and services)

The migration:
1. Stop cloudera manager on page Cloudera Management Service monitoring service
2. Master closed cloudera-scm-server, all nodes close cloudera-scm-agent
master node: /opt/cm-5.8.0/etc/init .d / cloudera-scm-server stop
all nodes: /opt/cm-5.8.0/etc/init.d/cloudera-scm-agent stop

3. Modify /opt/cm-5.8.0/etc/cloudera-scm-server/db.properties profile the new master node
vi /opt/cm-5.8.0/etc/cloudera-scm-server/db .properties
com.cloudera.cmf.db.host new node name =
4. modify the profile in all nodes Agent
VI /opt/cm-5.8.0/etc/cloudera-scm-agent/config.ini
the server_host = new the master node
5. the master node start-SCM-Server Cloudera
start /opt/cm-5.8.0/etc/init.d/cloudera-scm-server
all nodes start-SCM-Agent Cloudera
/opt/cm-5.8.0 Start /etc/init.d/cloudera-scm-agent
6. 7180 landed a new node, check the service status

Note: hive hue oozie and other metadata database migration is also related to the need to modify the new page address in the database configuration, restart
