First use the shortcut [Ctrl + C] to copy the entity references, then use the keyboard shortcut [Ctrl + K] pasted into Diagram.
We often use the Paste shortcut [Ctrl + V] is another new entity with an identical copy of an entity, the equivalent of a new entity (entity name must be unique).
