Mozilla released MDN Web developer needs assessment report

Mozilla has released the first edition of its annual global Web designers and developers demand survey report: the MDN Web developer needs assessment (Web DNA). And he expressed the hope that through this report to shape the future Web platforms.

In this report, they conducted a survey of more than 28,000 developers and designers from 173 countries / regions. Mozilla said it will investigate the summary together to convey "developers and network architects of sound."

Meanwhile, Mozilla side also said they analyzed the data provided by the public, and identified 28 different requirements, then divide them into 14 different topics. Wherein 5 there are four first demand and the relevant browser compatibility. The documentation, debugging, framework, security and privacy are the top 10.

Mozilla Web DNA report noted that "survey participants have affected the browser vendors how to prioritize functionality developed to meet the needs of the network and out of network designers and developers by making an annual report, you can track with time changing needs and pain points, so that all stakeholders can see the impact of their efforts on the future of the network. "
