Note 2: Currently, most PC monitors NTSC color gamut of 72%, while 90% NTSC can do mostly is called wide color gamut display
The broader the NTSC color gamut, the greater the range of colors that can be displayed, the higher the color saturation. If the color gamut is too low, looks on the display screen is gray.

AdobeRGB（wiki中文）与sRGB相比，绿色G的位置更往上了一些，在（x=0.2100, y=0.7100），在青绿色色系比sRGB有多的色彩空间
AdobeRGB色域更广，CMYK（wiki中文）颜色是其一个子集，所以印刷行业通常使用Adobe RGB的色彩空间 注：光线叠加的原理是越叠越亮，然而打印机打印是油墨，颜料的叠加是颜色越多越黑
总之，不同的标准定义RGB、D65白点的值不尽相同（即具体红色、蓝色、绿色、白色是什么色，值是多少），色域范围也存在差异
上图为CIE xy色度图，是CE1931 xyY三维体在xy平面的投影，外侧曲线边界是光谱轨迹并对应于单色光，波长用纳米nm标记。
底下的直线边界叫做“紫线”，这些颜色尽管在色域的边界上，但没有匹配的单色光。曲线包围的是人眼所能看到的色彩范围
如果你在色度图上选择了任何两点，则位于这两点之间直线上任何颜色都可以用这两个颜色混合出来。这得出了色域的形状必定是凸形的。
混合三个光源形成的所有颜色都可以在色度图内的源点形成的三角形内找到（对于多个光源也如是）。
两个同等明亮颜色的等量混合一般不位于这个线段的中点。用更一般术语说，在xy色度图上颜色是非线性变化的，绿色区域颜色变化缓和，蓝色区域则变化剧烈（如下图所示）
