ftp tool can not connect Linux server, files can not be uploaded, because your ftp server is not set up (or start)
Long time no log Tencent cloud, today want to upload files xshell of xftp tool, but suddenly can not connect.
With 22 ports, you can log in and access normally. But ftp tool port 21 can not connect to a remote host, the file can not be uploaded.
The problem did not start in 21 ftp function of the port of Linux virtual cloud host above.
Set up an FTP server on a Linux cloud services:
1. Install vsftpd
log on Linux cloud servers.
Execute the following command to install vsftpd.
yum install vsftpd -y
2. Start Services
execute the following command to start the service.
systemctl start vsftpd
3. Execute the following command to confirm whether the service started.
netstat -tunlp
If you see a 21-port, then success.
4. Please stay Keguan. Execute the following command to set the boot vsftpd
chkconfig vsftpd on
