Chrome browser attempts to identify the page loading speed

What is your speed is too slow or slow page loads? Chrome browser in the near future may be able to provide an answer. Google is experimenting with "Load Indicator" ( loading On Indicator ), in order to inform when the user loads the page in length.

After, Chrome will further identify fast or too slow loading websites, specific markers are yet to be determined. Early prototype is a complete page loading screen, slow loading pages contain "Loading ......" with a red warning symbol and the words "generally slow to load" message, the progress bar at the top of the blue. The faster site loading progress bar is green.

In addition, Chrome may also use the context menu to help users know if a site is running slowly, to help it decide whether to click on a link before a user opens the page. Google said the site will be "historical load delay" into account, in hopes of promoting developers optimize the site.

Chrome team is working with other departments to Google's site tagging, to ensure a consistent visual experience. Notice also wrote:

"We will gradually determined in accordance with increasingly stringent standards fast or slow sites. Our long term goal is to define high-quality experience, which may include signals other than speed."

Therefore, in the long run, Chrome's goal is to identify high quality sites, but only a non-load and speed. For the definition of high-quality sites, there will be a series of follow-up should determine factors and criteria appear. The ultimate goal of this work is to enable users and developers can get a more favorable experience.
