Microsoft announced a series of new preview version of Ignite 2019 Conference, including Visual Studio 2019 16.4 Preview Version 3 , which includes a faster code navigation, IntelliSense and improved functions. Here are some new features:
- Speedy code navigation: 16.3 was introduced in all the languages in the search bar of the search file search and semantic code C # and VB. In 16.4, rewritten Find In files tool window to address the suggestions and feedback the IDE search controls, improved performance, solve problems caused pending.
- IntelliSense without Using directives: In 16.4, IntelliSense display any type of assembly members and project references, and automatically add Using instructions to keep the code clean.
- Automatically re-train and acquire IntelliCode team models: by automatically get the new Azure DevOps task and models, you can set the pipeline to handle the team model updates, and automatically share the model with others working in the same repository.
- XAML code editor pop up, merge resource dictionaries and more: In this version, the developers need to build a desktop WPF or UWP applications. One of these features is the ability to use XAML tab next to the new "pop up" buttons to open the XAML code editor window and XAML designer.
- Audio calls and app sharing for desktop apps in Live Share: Live Share tool window allows you to start an audio call with other collaborators in Live Share session
