Modify Linux mount directory name

Local System Administrator adds a VG, those original a mount point / u02 changed to / u02-old, as shown below.

But the mount point / u02-old (mount directory) is not what we want, now we need to modify the mount directory name, then how to do it? Here are the steps.

 

Step 1: umount directory or mount the device, as shown in FIG.

 

 

 

Step 2: Create a new directory or mount point rename

 

 

Step 3: to remount the device directory or mount point

 

 

Step 4: Edit / etc / fastab configuration information.
