MBR partition table is the traditional type, the biggest drawback is not supported by a hard disk larger than 2T. GPT is to make up for this shortcoming MBR, maximum support 18EB hard disk, disk partition scheme is based on the use of UEFI.
Among them, all current Windows systems support MBR, GPT but was only able to support 64-bit systems.
