Ubuntu install the latest version (1.12) Golang and use go mod

 

wget https://dl.google.com/go/go1.12.4.linux-amd64.tar.gz

sudo tar -zxvf go1.12.4.linux-amd64.tar.gz -C /opt

Check whether the installation was successful

cd /opt/go/bin

./go version

go version go1.12.4 linux/amd64

Set Environment Variables

vi /etc/profile

export GOROOT=/opt/go
export GOPATH=/home/ubuntu/go
export GOPROXY=https://goproxy.io
export GOARCH=amd64
export GOOS=linux export GOTOOLS=$GOROOT/pkg/tool export PATH=$PATH:$GOROOT/bin:$GOPATH/bin source /etc/profile

Which, GOPROXY can solve golang.org/x / ... issue series package can not be downloaded.

HelloWorld write files, test runtime environment.
