Create a Linux virtual machine

Create a Linux virtual machine, here to Ubuntu, for example, in addition, it can also be used to create Centos.

Download Ubuntu image file

Open VirtualBox, click New, named ub-xx format, the benefits of doing so is the window will automatically identify and select the corresponding type and version, if named in other formats, you need to manually select the type of Linux, version Ubuntu (64 -bit).

Click Next, select the virtual machine to give the allocated memory size. Recommended Memory of not less than 2G, but do not exceed one-half of the host memory.
My host is 8G of memory, I have chosen to allocate virtual machine 2G of memory.

Click Next and the next steps in accordance with the basic default.



In the choice of storage space, I chose the store is a 32G, it is not recommended below this space. Click "Create."

到这里，虚拟机的框架就创建完成了。
双击启动创建好的虚拟机，在弹出的窗口中选择上面下载好的Ubuntu镜像文件。点击“启动”。选择“安装Ubuntu”。之后的步骤中，地图点击中国的位置，里面会显示“shanghai”（即上海），语言选择“汉语”，其他步骤按照默认的进行即可。
除此之外，还需要创建用户名和密码等信息。

安装的过程需要一定的时间，请耐心等待。

安装完毕后，重启一下，需要输入刚才设置的密码以进入虚拟机。
在上方的选项中选择“设备”➡“安装增强功能”，桌面将会多出一个光盘图标。

配置网络

在VirtualBox管理器页面上，分别选择“管理”➡“主机网络管理器”，点击“创建”，创建一个新的网卡。其对应的属性如下图所示。

双击对应虚拟机上的“设置”，选择“网络”，在网卡1的连接方式上选择“仅主机（Host-Only）网络”，这时界面名称会自动选择。在网卡2连接方式上选择“NAT 网络”，界面名称选择“NatNetwork"。

设置虚拟机远程访问模式

打开“网络与共享中心”，选择“更改适配器设置”，右击主机网络，选择“属性”，点击“共享”，家庭网络连接处选择刚才创建的网卡，勾选“允许其他网络用户通过此计算机的Internet连接来连接”。

下载与VirtualBox版本相对应的extension pack。注意版本需要一致，这里点击蓝字给出的是6.0.10版本的下载地址。
在VirtualBox管理器界面，分别点击“工具”➡“全局设定”➡“扩展”，点击右边的加号，添加刚下载的的extension pack。

在Linux虚拟机上选择“控制”，点击“设置”➡“显示”➡“远程桌面”，勾选“启用服务器”并记录服务器端口号。
