When you need to update the stack, to understand before implementing changes affect how your resources are running can help you to confidently update stack. Use the change set, you can preview what impact the proposed changes may have resources that are running to the stack, for example, your change will remove or replace any critical resources only when you decide to make changes set, AWS CloudFormation only your stack will change, allowing you to decide whether to continue the implementation of the proposed changes, or to explore other changes by creating another set of changes. You can create and manage the change set using AWS CloudFormation Console, AWS CLI or AWS CloudFormation API.
