Dice sequel: five programming languages to their possible future king

Last month, we reported a " Dice said that five programming languages may decline ," the article, which is based RedMonk and TIOBE companies such as data speculation, the results caused a widespread discussion. Dice Insights  provides insights and analysis for IT professionals in North America website, designed to help them find work and career development, and employment trends report content, new technology. After two weeks, Dice rely on larger data trends to make predictions, has released a sequel more bold prediction, about five programming languages may be used more in the future.

Swift

Apple wants to give up Objective-C, which is a 35-year-old programming language used to build applications for the Apple ecosystem. Apple wants to replace it Swift, Swift released five years ago. According to analyst firm RedMonk long-language rankings, the use of Swift since its inception rising rapidly.

Even so, Objective-C is still in use, mainly due to a large number of legacy code (legacy code) generated in the past three decades. However, Apple has not it have any expectations, Swift is powered by Apple's flagship language for the application, Apple is only likely to accelerate the development of this programming language in the cross-platform applications.

Kotlin

Kotlin is on the rise. Kotlin is derived from the name of an island, stands Kotlin Island, in English, "Kotlin Island," meaning, ten years ago, or Russia Kotlin island, now it becomes a programming language,  JetBrains has developed it, but it is of concern reasons, largely due to Google, Google Android class it as a development language.

It can be said, by selecting the Kotlin, Google reduces the reliance on Java. Oracle and Java and has undergone tremendous legal dispute, but regardless of whether Google's lawyers in pushing the company's support for Kotlin, no doubt, because of its functionality and flexibility, many developers have begun to love this language.

As early as 2018, Pusher, initiated a developer survey found Kotlin usage is like astronomical growth, largely because Android. Pusher Additional information:

A large part of developers, their work programs and other projects, using Kotlin. Most people like to use it because it's characteristics, more than 80% of developers like the empty security, followed by the extension function, and Java to simplify interoperability and data classes.

For Kotlin, in addition to Android development seems to be no way out. So it's the biggest question is whether to go beyond Android ecosystem and explore new areas.

Python

Python is a powerful language, provides a variety of uses for developers around the world. However, according to  TIOBE Index (updated monthly), Python's ranking continues to climb. And developers and technology professionals are also finding new uses Python, including data analysis and machine learning.

Python now have a huge user base, and it is deeply embedded in a large number of businesses, so Python unlikely to disappear in the short term. The only problem is this programming language can last much growth, and it will be followed by which industries can take.

Groovy

Groovy has extensive IDE support, and Java as well as similarities with the popular open source automation server  Jenkins  Integrated Support, ranked TIOBE is rising. It has become a "programming language binder" a considerable number of the system, its future appears to be bright.

TypeScript

TypeScript is a superset of JavaScript, some developers believe that it is not a "complete" language because it can be converted to JavaScript. But no matter how it, RedMonk  and  GitHub  (below, rose to seventh) report TypeScript October rankings are a serious rise. Last summer, TIOBE says, TypeScript has begun to devour JavaScript market share.

Whether or not you believe, TypeScript is a new, improved JavaScript, it will replace the older language, but many technical professionals that space TypeScript in the coming years as well as development.
