Note that: the virtual machine image can only fit VMWare Workstation Pro 15, Workstation Player 15 and VMWare Fusion 11. If you lower the VMWare virtual machine client version, you need to upgrade in order to start the FydeOS VM normal.
This release FydeOS VM for VMWare is an early preview version, there are some we are also improving deficiencies, as follows:
- Hardware does not support streaming resolved, you can not play h.264 / 5 streaming video encoded in the browser;
- Virtual machines can not adjust the screen resolution temporarily. First boot screen resolution and aspect ratio of the screen may appear too large or abnormal, shut down and then restart the virtual machine will return to normal;
- Part of the Advanced Interactive does not support virtual machine and the host, such as drag and drop to move files, clipboard sharing and so on;
- To bring maximum compatibility, since the portable version of the Andrew system is 7.1.1;
- Andrews subsystem can not run applications need to call NDK, it is part of the Andrews game does not start properly;
- Part of the video can not be played in Andrews subsystem;
- It does not support nested virtual machine, so the version does not carry Linux (beta);
- It does not support OTA upgrade.
