3.1 Simplicity Studio Installation and Configuration
Simplicity Studio is a free Eclipse-based integrated development environment (IDE), value-added tools provided by Silicon Laboratories collection. Its main goal is to reduce development time, so you can focus on your application, rather than research Bluetooth, ZigBee specification and hardware reference manual.
Simplicity Studio simplifies the IoT (Internet of Things) development process, you can use everything you need Eclipse4.5-based integrated development environment (IDE) one-click access to developers to complete the project. Simplicity Studio including the energy used in the analysis, a rigorous set of tools to configure and wireless network analysis, and presentation software examples, complete documentation, technical support and community forums. These integrated tools and features work together at all levels of the other IoT developers can easily and efficiently engage in embedded development. Simplicity Studio provides an 8-bit or 32-bit MCU or SoC wireless built-in intelligence to automatically detect the connected graphically configure the device, and show support for configuration options that enable developers to carry out the project in a few minutes.
