Calculated to ensure maximum exposure time image does not smear

Camera when shooting a moving object, if the object moves too fast, the camera's exposure time is too long, then the image will have a smear. This article is calculated to ensure maximum exposure time image does not smear.

If the object moving speed V = 100mm / s, the system resolution R = 1/100 (mm / pixel), the maximum exposure time T is calculated as:

                                   T=\frac{R}{V}=\frac{1/100}{100}=0.0001s=0.1ms

Acceptable smear if allowed to be 5 pixels, the maximum exposure time T is calculated as:

                                   T=\frac{R}{V}=\frac{1/100*5}{100}=0.0005s=0.5ms
