Under Ubuntu similar to the two tools Total Commander

Total Commander for linux

Is there a Linux version?

Unfortunately not. Because of problems with porting of Total Commander to Linux, the Linux version had to be delayed indefinitely.

A recommended file manager for Linux is Krusader.

But if you do not need a native Linux Total Commander you can use the Windows version with wine.

See Total Commander under Wine for a small tutorial.

Linux Tools : File Manager Gnome Commander

Windows on it is like Total Commander file manager mode , in Linux there , is the Gnome Commander, have noticed it for a long time , the most important is the Chinese file name can not be displayed before and give it up , I did not expect this upgrade Ubuntu later , Gnome Commander opens point of view , Chinese everything is normal .... recommended ~~ :)

Installation :

apt-get install gnome-commander

In the Open Gnome Commander later , I did a few of the following settings :

Settings -> Options -> Programs amended as follows :

  • Viewer: mousepad %s
  • Editor : gvim% s
  • Archives Press F3 is viewing , archival press F4 is to use gvim open editor

Settings -> Options -> Layout amended as follows :

  • Color scheme: Modern
  • 勾选 Colorize files according to the LS_COLORS environment variable

In setting inside , that's not enough , you can directly edit the $ HOME of .gnome2 directory , there are two files :

  • gnome-order
  • gnome-commander-size

This way it is easy to use Hello :)

PS: 在列表想要打 s 就到 s 开头的档案, Ctrl+Alt+s 才可以, 直接打 s 会到最下面命令行去.
