HTML basis --- HTML editor

First, use Notepad or TextEdit to write HTML

You can use a professional HTML editor to edit the HTML:

  • Adobe Dreamweaver
  • Microsoft Expression Web
  • CoffeeCup HTML Editor

However, we also recommend using a text editor to learn HTML, such as Notepad (PC) or TextEdit (Mac). We believe that using a simple text editor is a good way of learning HTML.

By Notepad to create your first web page in accordance with the following four steps.

1. Step a

Start Notepad

2. Step 2: The HTML editor Notepad

Type the HTML code in Notepad:

 

 3. Step three: Save HTML

From the File menu select Notepad "Save As."

When you save an HTML file, you can either use .htm can also use the .html extension. There is no difference between the two, completely according to your preferences.

4. Step Four: Run the HTML file in a browser

Start your browser, then select "File" menu in the "open file" command, or double-click your HTML files directly in the folder.
