Apache Kafka 2.3 release, this version brings some new features, including:
- Improved Kafka Connect REST API
- Kafka Connect now supports incremental synergies rebalancing
- Kafka Streams now supports memory storage and session storage window
- AdminClient now allows the user to determine which actions they are authorized to perform on the topic
- There is a new start time indicator broker
- JMXTool can now connect to the RMI port security
- Add incremental AlterConfigs API, the old AlterConfigs API has been deprecated
- Now the smallest partition in track counting ISR
- Consumers can now opt out of automatic topic creation, even if is true enable broker
- Kafka components can now use an external storage configuration (KIP-421)
- Improved the behavior of a copy of the extraction program when it encounters an error
