Chrome plug-in error during installation: "CRX_HEADER_INVALID"

1. crx plug-in name suffix rar 
2. extract the rar package 
3. Go to the browser 
    1) Click the Chrome browser address bar rightmost three points -> More Tools -> Extensions -> Click loading the extension to extract 
    2) or: 
       in the address bar: Chrome: // extensions / 
4. select Extract rar folder -> select OK to
