DNS hijacking HTTP hijacking

1. DNS hijacking

Attacker uses other means of attack (such as a router or a hijacked domain name servers , etc.), tampering with the analytical results for a domain that points to the IP domain into another IP, resulting in access to the corresponding URL is hijacked to another unreachable or fake website in order to achieve illegal to steal information or disrupt normal network services purposes.

2. HTTP hijacking

DNS will be different throughout the jump page, page hijacking often just add a small window on the page, but this does not belong to a small window advertising page itself, sometimes no matter what page you visit this small window will not disappear, very annoying.

Principle HTTP hijacking is in information transmission between the server and the user exaggeration, because the information is not encrypted caused. User requests a web server, web server returned to the user, it gives others the opportunity to feed in transit. Even if the DNS server is reliable, it can not prevent HTTP hijacking.
