Use less time monitoring logs

 

less support itself is similar to tail -f operation, that is, after you open a file using less, press and hold SHIFT + F key, so that you go directly to follow the pattern. Looks with tail -f effect is the same. Take advantage of this, you want to achieve the effect of highlighting tail -f, it is altogether divided into the following three steps of:

1. less xxx.log
2. In / $ {key_work} the way you want to search for keywords highlighted. (Even if the current document does not does not matter)
3. SHIFT + F, enter the follow mode
