Apache Lucene 7.7.2 release, 6 bug fixes

Apache Lucene 7.7.2 was released. Lucene is a high-performance, full-featured text search engine written entirely in Java.

This version brings six bug fixes:

  • 8726-the LUCENE : ValueSource.asDoubleValuesSource () may leak a reference to the IndexSearcher.
  • 8735-the LUCENE : FilterDirectory.getPendingDeletions now be forwarded to the agency, even if the method in the superclass is not abstract.
  • 8688-the LUCENE : TieredMergePolicy # findForcedMerges now try to merge to create the lowest cost, allowing the index down to "maxSegmentCount" segment or less.
  • 8785-the LUCENE : the number of active threads before retrieving state to ensure that new thread locked state. When the active index call IndexWriter # deleteAll, which can lead to errors and IndexWriter assertions may damage the field properties.
  • 8720-the LUCENE : Facets module NameIntCacheLRU have an int overflow bug, prohibited to clear the cache.
  • 8809-the LUCENE : simultaneous refresh and allows rollback segment remains unclosed state.
