Performance Testing

The performance test mainly verifies the performance issues of HarmonyOS applications running on Huawei real devices, including startup time, interface display, CPU usage, and memory usage. For detailed descriptions of specific performance test items, please refer to the performance test standards .

Performance testing supports Phone and TV devices, and package formats include Hap/App.

Prerequisites

Create test tasks

  1. Visit the HUAWEI DevEco Service page and log in with your Huawei developer account.
  2. Click the "Start Here" button on the interface to enter the console.
  3. Select or create a project. If you create a new project, be sure to select HarmonyOS.

  1. Enter the project space, select Test Service > HarmonyOS Cloud Test in the left navigation bar , enter the HarmonyOS Cloud Test page , and click the Create Test button on the right side of the HarmonyOS Cloud Test page to enter the Create Test Task page .

  1. Select Performance Test on the Create Test Task page , set the following information, and click Next .
  • Application: Select the HarmonyOS application package to be tested, including HAP and APP formats. If the application has not been uploaded, please upload a HarmonyOS application package locally first.
  • Application classification: Set the first-level classification, second-level classification and third-level classification of the application.

Only 100 performance test tasks can be performed per day, please arrange the test tasks reasonably.

  1. Select test equipment. Performance testing supports smart screens (TV) and mobile phones (Phone).
  2. After the task is created, please wait for the test task to be completed. You can view the task status in the HarmonyOS cloud test task list.

View test report

After the test task is executed, you can click the View Test Report button in the task list to view the test result details.

On the overview page of the test report, you can view the overall situation of the test task, such as test pass rate, problem distribution, and problem distribution on each test terminal.

Click the View Details button behind the test device to view test task details, test screenshots, exception information and log information.

Power consumption test

The power consumption test mainly verifies the power consumption of HarmonyOS applications running on Huawei real devices, including screen usage time, WLAN usage time, audio usage time, etc. For detailed descriptions of specific power consumption test items, please refer to the power consumption test standard .

The power consumption test supports Phone, and the package format includes Hap/App.
