According to news on December 25, a preliminary assessment by the Russian Federal State Statistics Service showed that Russia’s net output of cereals and beans this year was 142.602 million tons, a decrease of 9.5% from last year.
Among them, the winter wheat harvest was 63.797 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 13.8%, and the spring wheat harvest was 28.975 million tons (a decrease of 4.1%). Statistical tables from the Russian State Statistics Service show that the total grain output collected was 142.602 million tons, which was 90.5% of the total in 2022.
Russia set a new production record in 2022, with the total harvest of cereals and beans weighing 157.6 million tons after processing, including 104.2 million tons of wheat.
