New on KubeSphere Marketpalce! Databend Playground helps quickly start the data analysis environment

On December 5, Databend Playground (community early adopter version) of Databend Labs was successfully put on the KubeSphere Marketplace cloud native application expansion market of Qingyun Technology, providing users with an experimental environment to quickly learn and verify Databend solutions.

About Databend Playground

Databend is a new generation of cloud-native data warehouse developed using Rust, fully oriented to cloud architecture, and built based on object storage. It has the ability to instantly expand and shrink, and can increase computing power hundreds of times in minutes, providing enterprises with a centralized platform for big data management and analysis based on object storage, lake and warehouse integration, and separation of computing and storage. With the help of KubeSphere's expansion system, Databend Playground supports one-click installation and setup of a simple data analysis environment with front-end SQL IDE support, without having to worry about large-scale deployment issues.

Currently, Databend Playground supports single Query, single Meta, and single Playground one-click deployment mode, which is suitable for novice users who learn Databend’s SQL syntax and experience data analysis solutions. We will further iterate on this basis to support high-end users. The Meta architecture and elastic expansion mechanism of computing resources are available, and additional services such as disk monitoring are provided.

Go to KubeSphere Marketplace and subscribe to Databend Playground.

After the subscription is successful, install KubeSphere Enterprise Edition 4.0 in the Kubernetes cluster and open the KubeSphere console. After authorizing the KubeSphere cloud account, view the subscribed Databend Playground in the KubeSphere extension market and start the installation.

After the installation is complete, click on the "Extension" icon in the upper right corner to enter the application page of the Databend Playground extension and start using it.
