The following two concepts are very easy to confuse under existing Chinese blogs:
- edge-cut ( edge cutting) = vertex-partition ( point partition)
- vertex-cut ( point cutting) = edge-partition ( edge partition)
In fact, when you first read Chinese, it’s really confusing. But when you look at it in English, it’s very clear, so if you insist on speaking in Chinese, I tend to translate it literally:
- edge-cut (edge cut (division)) = vertex-partition (point partition)
- vertex-cut (point cut (division)) = edge-partition (edge partition)
