Fault phenomenon:
When the 64G card did not back up the data, I formatted it and took another video. It was found that the data was not backed up. The customer used general recovery software to scan and could see the file and directory relationships, but after recovery, all videos could not be opened.
Failure analysis:
Gopro has said many times before that when it captures images, it generally generates three files, THM, LRV, and MP4. THM is the static image of the first frame, and the other two are previews of small videos with lower resolutions, LRV. (for playing on GORPO small screen), one is video MP4 with higher resolution. The two files are cross-queued for writing, so there is a lot of fragmentation. This is the main reason why general-purpose recovery software cannot play after recovery. Because the FAT table is cleared to 0 after formatting and the file linked list does not exist, so recovery can only be done through the starting cluster and file size, which also leads to recovery errors.

Troubleshooting:
In this case, you can use the CHS Zero One Video Recovery Program Standard Edition/Professional Edition/Advanced Edition or GoPro Edition to scan. We use the GoPro Edition to scan and select the logical disk (logical disk refers to the drive letter with the file system, RAW is the physical disk ), right-click "Scan"
STEP1: Scan directly. If you don’t touch the main category when scanning, the default is recorder. Then open the sample file. At this time, when scanning the small category, it will automatically switch to "0: Import sample files for automatic analysis".
STEP2:Scan directly and wait for completion.
STEP3: Check the data. You can see that the data you are searching for is normal. You can also preview it directly. After comparison, you can successfully find the data that the customer needs.
