3. What is OpenCloudOS?
OpenCloudOS is an open and neutral operating system community project initiated by operating systems, cloud platforms, software and hardware manufacturers, and individuals. It aims to create a fully neutral, open, secure, stable, easy-to-use, and high-performance Linux server operating system.
OpenCloudOS's latest fully self-developed community version 9.0 is the first Linux distribution in China to use the latest kernel. It is jointly developed and maintained by more than ten companies including Tencent. Its kernel and user mode software are independently selected and evolved independently. , achieving independent control over the entire link of the operating system release.
At present, the OpenCloudOS community and derivative versions have a cumulative installed capacity of more than 10 million nodes, covering 12 major industries such as banking, insurance, and securities, and have experienced long-term verification of massive businesses.
