Modelsim installation failed
A blue screen of death during the Modelsim process will cause the Modelsim installation to fail. Re-clicking the installation file and reinstalling will cause a crash. This is because the Mentor PADS monitoring software was installed during the Modelsim installation process and needs to be uninstalled before it can be installed again. Modelsim.
Click the software directly in the control panel to uninstall it.
If a crash occurs, you can find the MentorGraphics folder in the C drive of your computer, find the Uninstall.exe software uninstaller in C:\MentorGraphics\Install\bin, and uninstall it. After uninstalling, you can install Modelsim again.
