Q1. How to obtain DevEco Studio 2.0? (Version plan + acquisition method)

Q2. What is the difference between DevEco Studio 1.0 and DevEco Studio 2.0?

Q3. What new skills do I need to learn to access HarmonyOS? Is it troublesome to convert Android to HarmonyOS?
Answer: HarmonyOS application development only requires basic development skills in Java, JavaScript, html, and css. If you have experience in application development, HarmonyOS application development will be easier to get started.

Q4. What HarmonyOS models are currently available? I don’t have a real HarmonyOS machine, what should I do?
Answer: Currently, Huawei has released only Honor smart screen products equipped with HarmonyOS, and will soon release HarmonyOS sports watches. If you don’t have a real machine at hand, it is recommended to use the built-in HarmonyOS previewer and remote simulator in DevEco Studio 2.0.

Q5. Is DevEco Studio open source?
Answer: DevEco Studio is developed based on the IntelliJ IDEA open source community version and complies with the open source management and control process specifications. It will also be open source in the near future.

Q6. Can IntelliJ plug-in be used in DevEco Studio?
Answer: DevEco Studio is developed based on IntelliJ IDEA 2019.2.1 open source community version. Plug-ins adapted to this version can be used on DevEco Studio.


Q7. Is the Windows version now available?
Answer: Both DevEco Studio 1.0 and 2.0 only support win10.

Q8. Is the Mac version now available?
A: The Mac version is expected to be released in Q4 this year, so stay tuned.

Q12: How do I obtain the Powered By HarmonyOS technical certification mark?
You can visit the HarmonyOS official website www.harmonyos.com. After completing the corporate real-name authentication, you can create a product plan in the management center and submit for certification testing.


Q13: How do I publish my HarmonyOS component or solution?
Currently, you need to complete corporate real-name authentication on the HPM website hpm.harmonyos.com. After completing the review of components and solutions in the management center, they can be officially released to HPM.
