Simplicity - Nylas Mail client management is elegant and simple. Built with electron, the app is beautiful and easy to use. Its design also ensures that setting up email in Nylas is simple and straightforward.
Compatibility - Nylas Mail is compatible with all email providers. It's compatible with Gmail, Yahoo, Exchange and IMAP accounts, so you can receive your mail anywhere.
Powerful - Nylas is packed with features. It has a full-screen mode, offline support, multiple layout formats, multiple accounts, unified inbox, reminders, snooze, signature and send later features. Some of these features are included with Nylas Mail Basic.
Hybrid Backend - Previously, Nylas synced a single copy of mail to a server using the Nylas cloud, which was like mehn to many people. Fortunately, in the latest version, Nylas features a hybrid backend that connects directly to email providers like Gmail or Outlook. Cloud sync is still available, but only when using premium subscription tools like snoozing and tracking. The disadvantage is that it is one-size-fits-all. If you want some professional features, you need cloud synchronization; if you don’t want to use cloud synchronization, you miss out on these features.
Open Source and Free Edition - Nylas as an open source project. This means you can write the code yourself and build it yourself. You can even set up your own server to sidestep the problem.
Cross-platform - Nylas is a cross-platform application available on Linux, Windows and Mac OS X. So no matter which desktop operating system you prefer, you can rest assured knowing Nylas has you covered. And the usage is the same.

So far, the Nylas mail client is good, but there are a few complaints. The first was a paid option launched in 2016. Introducing a free version is sort of a solution to this problem, but the fact that some features are only available for $9 per month makes most people, including me, unhappy. Furthermore, not many people like to keep a copy of their mail on a server. Of course, you can set up your own server, but it's a bit cumbersome. Finally, for an application to run in the background, it requires quite a bit of memory. I hope that's not the case because it's primarily written in electron, and I'm sure it will get better as it gets updated and improved.
