  Lenovo (THINKPAD:): After booting, press F1 to enter CMOS settings, go to Config----Serial ATA (SATA)----SATA Controller MODE Option (select compatibility here), then press F10 and press Enter.

  Toshiba: After booting, press F2 to enter CMOS settings, find Advanced→SATA Controller MODE, and select compatibility.
