The XY8390 IoT AI core board developed by Xinmi Technology is a highly integrated and powerful platform designed for various artificial intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) use cases.
The processor uses Arm® DynamIQ™ technology, combines the high-performance Cortex-A78 core and the energy-efficient Cortex-A55 core, and is equipped with the Arm Neon™ engine. Single-core AI processor (APU) cadence® Tensilica® VP6 processor with AI accelerator (AIA), single-core Cadence HIFI 5 audio engine DSP, memory data rate higher than LPDDR4(X)-3733, and multiple hardware interfaces, There are as many as 5 types of video output ports (HDMI/eDP/DP/MIPI/DPI).

The XY8390 core board uses a 6nm process technology and has two Cortex-A78 cores running at 2.2GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores running at 2.0GHz. In addition, the integrated AI accelerator can provide a strong performance of 4.4 TOPs.
Equipped with ARM Mali-G57 MC3 GPU, the running speed can be increased to 950MHz. It supports 1080P@60Hz and 2160P@60Hz dual-screen display, supports AV1, VP9, H.265 and H.264 video decoding, and is equipped with 32MP@30fps with internal ISP for better image processing.

The XY8390 core board software development kit supports Yocto Linux and Android operating systems, and can easily and flexibly develop various customized products and different application types. Wireless connection supports Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, 5G Sub-6 module, 1000M Ethernet and other extensive Internet needs.
In addition, it supports a variety of high-speed interfaces, including 1 PCIe Gen2, 1 USB 3.1, 2 USB 2.0 OTG/host, MIPI-CSI camera interface and 1 Gigabit Ethernet MAC, which can be widely used in smart homes and smart medical , smart transportation and other fields, rich external interfaces create a world where everything is connected.
